Event – Wealth Without Borders

Many of you will know Frederique Murphy of mountainmovingmindset.com (also known as @irishsmiley on Twitter). Frederique is the developer of the “Mountain Moving Mindset” programme, where she helps to empower business owners, entrepreneurs and solo-preneurs to master their mindset, so that they can bring their businesses to the next level.

She is organising an event in the K Club, Straffan, Co. Kildare from the 23rd to 25th of September inclusive.

I’m not usually one for self-help or self-actualisation events but what really caught my eye was the numerous video testimonials previous attendees have given Frederique in relation to previous events.

Some Minor Changes to the Whatswhat.ie Blog

Posted in Whatswhat News by Paraic

As I’ve now taken over the Whatswhat.ie blog from Sian, I should let you know about a couple of minor changes to the blog:

1. We’ve implemented the SI CAPTCHA Anti-Spam plugin so all comments now need a CAPTCHA filled in – take that, you bots!

2. We’ve installed the Sociable plugin to allow posts to be shared in a variety of ways. Thanks to Barry Hand for his analysis of the most popular sharing services in Ireland.

3. We’ve installed WPtouch so all you mobile handset browsers should have a more legible browsing experience on the blog.

Hi

Just to let you know some news regarding myself (Sian Phillips) and Whatswhat.ie.  I’m going to be taking a back seat from now on.  It has got to the point we have been working towards whereas the whole team are working from the office in Bray. Therefore as planned the accounting and admin function I’ve set up will be taken over from there and be inhouse. I will still be a shareholder and onboard as a consultant whenever needed.

I have been on Twitter since January 2009. Our SEO consultant – Webmentor.ie – advised us to sign up to Twitter and although I’d never heard of it I signed up anyway and haven’t  looked back since.

Ok, we all get newsletters daily, weekly, monthly. Some from companies we can’t remember signing up for and some from companies we can remember. Some automatically land in the Junk folder. What makes us read them?

I believe it depends on a lot of factors but would welcome feedback on your point of view.

Just over a year ago our SEO consultant – Webmentor.ie – advised us to sign up to Twitter. I thought it was a really silly name and didn’t actually hold out much hope for it but I signed up anyway. You can read here how great it has been for Whatswhat.ie but this blog is how it has been for me personally.
