Wow, my first blog. And thanks to Ali at http://www.webmentor.ie for all her invaluable help as always.
With so much going on at Whatswhat.ie at the moment Barbara and I thought the best bet to let everyone know of each new development was to write a blog. I can twitter and facebook it all to high heaven but at least with a blog you can all see what’s new – in more than 140 characters!!
You’ll see from the previous piece (not published before) I wrote about the ever annoying Matchmaker Marketing who are still active in tricking Irish Businesses. There are developments with that which I will be blogging about but I’m not ‘allowed’ to say anything as yet. It’s all good news though.
We have a lot of great new developments coming up in the next month or so at Whatswhat.ie and I can’t wait to tell you all about them but has to be kept under the hat for now – copy cats are rife in this business as we know.
So for starters our new Premium deal is what I’ll be blogging about.
A while ago Barbara and I decided we really had to help businesses get an online presence much more cheaply. The price to get online is sometimes too much and companies just can’t afford it during this R word (don’t say it out loud and then it’s not real). It’s so important these days for businesses to be seen online. So we decided to lower the cost of our Premium listings and allow the companies to pay on a monthly basis rather than upfront. Whereas we were charging €100+vat for the year we’re now charging only €5+vat per month. Companies sometimes struggle to pay a lump sum up front but for the price of a monthly pint (roughly) they can have an online presence now with Whatswhat.ie. All revenues go back into promoting the directory and therefore all the businesses listed with us. There are no changes to the benefits of the Premium Listing – in fact we have more features – and more on the way shortly.
For full details of what you get with a Premium listing on Whatswhat.ie please see Advertising
It’s very simple to do or if you want to chat please give us a call.
Good luck and take care
