Hi,

I also got conned into this by Apex Media and I can't believe I fell for it. After agreeing a fee for a "google ad" then then took a larger amount of money out of my credit card, four times the agreed amount. Yet I have emails where the agreed on a lower amount, I suppose it was their way of tricking me and to get my details. I tried to phone call but got nowhere, except for "we'll look into it", and the old chesnut "we're moving office right now". I emailed but nothing, no replys nothing whatsoever. So I cancelled the payments with my bank about four months ago. Then they call this morning claiming no proof that I cancelled the ad. And complaining about my chargeback and even threatened to send a debt collector! I got irate and told then where to go. I have all the proof of the cancellation, my bank were informed adn so were apexmedia.biz. Apex Media are scum.

Regards,

Hi Tom

I'm pleased to hear that the forums and blogs warning about these companies are doing the trick. However I wish they weren't needed in the first place.

Please pass this blog link on to anyone you may know who could also fall for their lines. The more people that are aware the better obviously.

Thank you

I have just had a call from these guys, they really do go for it on the hardsell, it was impossible to end the call with them. I was on google at the time and looked up there company name. Low and behold there were numerous forums with all kinds of complaints about them. At this point I told the salesman about what I had found, laughed at him and hungup. What a lucky escape. One of the forums even had an email with a almost word perfect version of their script, including the laughing at you bit when you tell them you are not interested. I haven't lost any money, just my time. I'm almost looking forward to their next call, it will be a lot, lot shorter...
