On advice from David of Primary Position I’m adding my blog to some  blog directories. I didn’t realise how easy this was to do. Can anyone else recommend blog directories please to save me looking?  Have to mention x68k9c5fjs so Technorati recognise me.

A couple of months ago a friend on Twitter - Catherine Bevalot - asked if anyone would like to contribute to an article she was writing about pets and how they affect our lives. I jumped at the chance as I have 3 dogs and 2 cats and my pets mean the world to me.  Once I started writing I found it hard to stop. And judging by the response Catherine received it seems there were lots like me too. 

Obviously today will be remembered all around the world for the catastrophic events in America and loss of so many lives. I watched it on the portable tv in our office in London. Work just stopped for the day as we all watched the events unfold. It was like watching a film but the horror was it was real life.

A couple of days later they started showing the pictures and names of British people that had died and a picture flashed up of someone I knew – Derek Sword. I hadn’t been expecting that at all.
