Conor Brady has recorded and performed as guitarist with many high-profile acts including the Corrs, Mary Coughlan, Paul Cleary, Jerry Fish and the Mudbug Club, The Commitments, Frances Black, Toots and the Maytals, & Terence Trent D'Arby, and is arguably one of the most sought-after session guitar players in the country. Conor is the ideal producer for guitar based or just NON MIDI based acts who need a sound in a specific genre.
Conor's earthy production style has earned him many plaudits, and he has produced and engineered albums for The Radiators From Space, Bronagh Gallagher, Colm Quearney, Paul Cleary, Audiokiss, The Ghandis, The Kapitals, Von Shakes and country/folk singer Ciara Considine. He has produced successful singles for The Barley Mob and Oisin.
Paul Byrne was a founder member of 1980s Rock band In Tua Nua who had 14 top 20 singles in Ireland. He has been the drummer for acts including Luka Bloom, The Texas Kellys, Leslie Dowdall, Dave and The Bebops, Rocky De Valera & the Gravediggers and now plays with Shane MacGowan in his new band 'The Shane Gang'. Paul has worked with many of the best producers around, including Peter Walsh (Simple Minds), Ian Broudie (The Lightning Seeds), Don Dixon (REM) and Paul Fox (XTC/They Might Be Giants). Paul is credited with discovering Sinead O'Connor when she was 15 and was instrumental in Jack L's early career. Paul also runs I-NV-U Records which helped develop the careers of Von Shakes and The Kapitals.
Paul is keen on new artist development. Recent credits include Von Shakes album 'The Routine', The Kapitals singles 'Take Everything' and 'Still Broke Enough' and their album 'How She's Cutting', Una Keane's "Saya Nova", Jeannette Byrne's "Cafe Diva" and "Elegy" albums, and all of Rocky De Valera and the Gravediggers' recent singles.
While being readily available to play drums here at Phonic, Paul also arranges and sings harmony vocals on many Phonic projects. Talk to Paul if you need any extra musicians/singers for a recording.
