The Community Enterprise Society Limited known to many as Terenure Enterprise Centre is a voluntary organisation with charitable status established in 1984. The directors all live locally and are strongly committed to supporting local employment. The building has 20 incubator units which have been occupied by a varied and innovative array of businesses over the years. A survey of those who have moved on to independent premises reveals that 70% are still successfully trading. Approximately 329 promoters were assisted in 2009 to start their own businesses.
