Since 1995, Wicklow Enterprise Centre has been successfully assisting fledgling and developing businesses and entrepreneurs. The Centre has won various awards over the years, most recently winning the Irish 'Enterprise Support Award' category in the European Enterprise Awards 2007. The European-wide criteria for this selection was based on 'originality, feasibility, impact on local economy, improvement of local stakeholders relations and tranferability of the project to other regions in Europe'. With this accolade to the Centre's credit, it is clear we provide a service and an environment which is conducive to success for our tenant companies. Wicklow Enterprise Centre is now a national template for community-led business centre initiatives and is copied around the country and internationally.
