Vera McEvoy is an Irish artist and a B.A. Fine Art Honours graduate of the National College of Art and Design, Dublin, Ireland. She was the recipient of the inaugural Arthouse NCAD Graduate Award and Bursary in 2011-2012 and has exhibited nationally and internationally since 2007. Working in community contexts with both adults and children, Vera has collaborated on a variety of creative projects in various settings e.g. Arts and Health, residency work in a commercial setting and in school residencies. She values highly, interactive and collaborative processes that are underpinned by meaningful engagement and raising awareness and appreciation of contemporary art in non art settings, workplaces and communities. Vera's work is represented in public and private collections nationally and in private collections in Australia, England and the USA.
